all my ex's are mexican but this one is white and it feels so weird!! i like him a lot but i dnt know.. am i jst being stupid?

It has to do with stigma within American culture. Notice how almost every other culture, particularly South America, integrated completely with immigrant people, yet the US for 200 years has managed to keep everyone separate, we are slowly coming around, but it's considered taboo for some reason.

Yes you are just being stupid, cause if he is treating you right
then there is nothing to worry about or nothing to make you feel
weird. Just because you only dated Mexican guys doesn't mean
you can't date outside your Ethnicity. If he has a nice personallity
then go for it have a nice time with him. If he respects your family
then keep him, you don't want to be with someone that can only
stay in one place and can't go to place's you want to go. So go
have fun and enjoy. You just might like it. Good Luck On Your
New Relationship. Sometimes dating outside of your raise is
better then your own, even if they don't like it, but oh well. Their
not dating him you are.

a little bit. i think the main reason u feel weird around him is because he's white unlike all the other mexicans you've met and/or gone out with. i've seen white mexicans b4, including one that was my friend in school, but evrytime i had my doubts, i remember about the movie 'blood in, blood out' a.k.a. 'bound by honor' and i hear them speak in spanish, and it helps to ensure that they're mexican for me

Hey i don't see what the big deal is... I'm mexican and i've only dated white guys. I think the cultural differences make the relationship more exciting...

It's just b/c it's something you're not used to. If he's a nice guy and treats you well... consider yourself lucky and stick around... should become a more normal thing as time passes. Change is always weird at first. :) Good luck.

if i knew you age it would make a difference in my answere . but any way i"m thinking you are 18 to 22. first of all you can date anyone you want too!!if you like this guy and he treats you good, well thats what matters. when we start to date someone new theres always that awkward stage of really getting to feel comfortable. if you feel really weid maybe hes not for you. but i say give it alittle tme.

Your not stupid...its just different. If you think about it they come from different backgrounds as well as lifestyles and you are probably only use dating mexicans. Give it time and you will adjust...good luck!

People feel better when they are around others that are like them... i mean who think like them... look like them and act like them... Ask yourself are we communicating well together.... if yes no problem... if no work it out... may be it is just you but what is really important that you think why you are getting that weired feeling and see if there is a solid reason...
