But seriously though. Some people have no morals whatsoever. They feel they need to be with someone else to heighten there ego. Not caring about the person there with whatsoever. That's why I say there ignorant. Its a very selfish act if you ask me. I just wish things were the way they use to be. I'm an old fashion person. Where did all the old fashion people of the world go?

Some people just want to have their cake and eat it too. They're not happy in the relationship but they don't want to end it either. Whatever the reason, I, personally think it's a very selfish, hurtful, and immature thing to do. If I'm not happy in a relationship there are two options. Either I can talk it out with the person or just leave them all together. Honesty is also an issue. If someone isn't ready to settle down they should have the decency to at least tell the other person so that they will know what they're getting into ahead of time. I could never cheat on someone even though it's happened to me because my heart just isn't built for that.

People cheat because of the need to be needed when they are with the people that they cheat with they like how this person makes them feel, when they are around them.

they cheat because they feel cheated being with someone. It's like a sense of pride and power thing. People who cheat want to feel that they still have control over what they can do, not what they can do as a couple. I think it's a power issue.
Or, someone may feel smothered, and feel the need to cheat to escape from being "surpressed". They want the sense of freedom.
Or, because they fall in love with someone else.
Or, just because they want the thrill in it.
Or, simply because they're asses.
OR, ALL OF THE ABOVE.
You can't justify cheating as a "mistake". Come on, you shouldn't be human if you can't think it through before you initiate sex, or sexual feelings towards someone...It's just not a good enough excuse.

I'm thinkin' that well, there are probably a few reasons they feel the need to cheat..
1) They need to be 'wanted'.
2) They love to flirt and go past that..
3) It makes them feel more popular by all the people that 'want them too.
4) They don't want to be in the relationship that they are in and that is one way of sluffing it off.
5) They think that it is neat to have...'F*** Buddies'.
6) They want to try different things with different people.
7) They feel like they aren't keeping up with 'the crowd' or a person that they hang out with and look kinda up to.
8) They are into sex, sex, sex.
I dunno.... I have never been a cheater...but, I sure have had a few of those slimeballs!
I always wondered why they would want to cheat too.Like, ..was I not good enough or what?
If you are with a cheater.....kick 'em to the curb!!! ~wink~

Because they don't feel the need to loose.Wups i think i miss understood the question. If you mean cheat as in cheat in a relationship then cause they can't control themselves and fall into their nature.

The need to cheat may stem from the person's insecurity, to get back at others who bhave cheated on them, low self essteam, the need to be wanted no matter who it may be.
It's just a hurt that never healed.

I think sometimes it just happens. It's not to say that it's OK by any means. I think some people do it without regret and some people have underlying circumstances that lead to it eventually. Whatever the reason, someone inevitably gets hurt down the road. It's sad.

A person who cheats on its partener means he/she has no respect for that person their with... the cheater also knows its worth losing their gf/wife/fiance etc. otherwise they wouldent do it if they cared about the other's feeling's. Nobody should cheat at least out of RESPECT!

In a mans perspective,when my friends talk about it,they did because women make themselves available. They make themselves look sexy,slutty,hot,and desirable. If a man is with someone, this other person he has no commitment to,does not have tell anything, and can get it when his partner feels that they have the power and not give it up to him.
