whoa, you have to stop worrying. Back pain has hundreds of causes. Cancer is a RARE cause. And usually the only type of cancer that would have a primary presentation of back pain is prostate CA that has metas. to the lumbar spine. This is usually in the elderly.

Most cancers present with significant weight loss and problems associated with that particular organ, not just general back pain.

Just to let you know, making your back crack is not a bad sign of any sort. Mine cracks quite often actually. It will crack more easily the more often it is cracked - just like your knucles.

But if you are quite concerned still - just go ask doc. They most likely won't do much other than tell you to do exercises for your back - 1. do moderate weight bearing activity to strengthen your lower back muscles. 2. Make sure you start daily stretching of your lower back - techniques such as pulling your knees to your chest while laying down. 3. Taking simple OTC meds like Ibuprofen, etc to help inflammation. 4. Heat/Ice to the lower back.

These simple techniques would most likely relieve your problem.

But overall, I wouldn't worry at all. Prostate CA is most common for males and Breast CA for females. Lung CA is the worst overall for both. Pancreatic CA isn't very high on the list. Most likely you have some chronic back pain starting. It problaby will just be a pain in your back and a "pain in you neck" as well. Good luck!

I have something very important to say to you. If you think, for some reason, that you may have pancreatic cancer, GO TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. To date, I have not known a single survivor of that type of cancer. By the time it gets diagnosed it is usually too late. My cousin's husband was nursing the flu. He seemed to have it for a long time. Even the doctors thought it was the flu. When after 2 months he was still sick, they finally did some tests. Yes, pain from your pancreas can radiate to your back. Please don't waste any more time.
I don't know why your back would be cracking. And I don't know if that is bad or good.

It probably isn't pancreas cancer. It might be a slipped disk, or muscle strain. But you shouldn't have to live with pain. Talk to a doctor.

If you don't have insurance, check your local community for the location of nearby free clinics. Also many doctors will see patients on a sliding scale or free basis. You have to be upfront about it and be prepared to call a few doctors first, but they are out there.

If you want to know more about pancreas cancer and if you are at risk, the following is the National Cancer Institutes's web page on pancreas cancer. They can answer better than I can.

you would have more symptoms than a back ache if you had pancreatic cancer. It sounds like you have a back problem, and you should go to a doctor to see what the deal is. Any health issue that doesn't resolve on its own in a few days is reason enough to go see an MD

It could be almost anything, not necessarilly pancreatic cancer. It sort of makes me think of stones in your gall bladder. I had similar pain and had to have my gall bladder taken out. A simple procedure nowadays.
