I have weighed this Iraq War and it is just about the same as the Vietnam War. We started in Vietnam assured that the Southeast Asians could not stand up to our Air Force and its multitude of bombs, rockets and high flying and powered jets.
The Southeast Asians looked to the American eye like a weak and small people so poor and ill kept. We just could not seriously consider them a threat to us, but we had no idea of just how strong and resilient these little bodies could be.
Like in Iraq, they would fight to the death, and they were not afraid of death like us Americans were afraid. Why?
Because they had a full and connected sense of their god and their religious principles, they also had life that was born of sorrow and hardship. They were and are fatalistic about life and so they believed that the powers that controlled the Universe were and would take them at some point and there was nothing they could do to change it.
We also thought we were better soldiers than the Iraqi or Vietnamese soldiers, but they were better at being a soldier because most of them were in the battle to the death. They had no illusion that they personally would be spared. They were however committed to do a good job even if it meant turning themselves into a living bomb fire and blowing up in our faces.
Way war of Iraq, heavy!

If there wasn't a war in Iraq, than it would be here...cause the only reason it in Iraq is the fact that US military went there, before Iraqi people came to US
Make sense? They are going to fight us no matter what...
