okay so i like this guy, and i know his sister pretty well because she played on the same sports team as me but shes at college now. but she came down to visit, so do you think i should ask her about him and see if she can do anything. like hook us up. im pretty sure she will because she asked me about him last year but i said no because i had no idea who he was. so what do you think?

Just keep this girl as a friend & do things together.
It may well give you a chance to meet the brother & at that time you may get to know him better & who knows what will happen.

I think it would be tacky to get someone else to do your dirty work. I say just strike up a converstion with him and if all goes well, ask him to go out with you and date. The worst he can say is "no".

ask her, or if you don't want to, hint at it. If you guys are fairly close she should have no problem helping you, but if you guys haven't talked in awhile it might look like you're using her just to get to the guy.
