"Wheat" is a misnomer. It has to say "100% WHOLE WHEAT". on anything---watch your bread purchasing. The 1st two ingredients are all that matter. Usually one of those is WATER.
But to answer yor ?.... the best pancake mix is Wheat & Honey Flapjack mix or THE BEST is 100% BUCKWHEAT Pancakes ...look for them in the gourmet section of your best supermarket.
The key to healthy pancakes is:
1. don't put ANY BUTTER ON THEM...just
2. PILE HIGH APPLESAUCE ALL OVER THEM!
Yummers!
