I figure it would depend on the duration of the burst, and how far into the kilowatt range you went. Of course, if you are thinking that 100 watts is in the kW range it is also in the MW range, with a very small number.

Certainly the filament could not stand current from a voltage that would develop even 200 watts.

It probably won't damage the lamp if the duty cycle (time on vs total time) is small enough, but pumping killowatts and megawatts into things is bound to generate a lot of RF noise. I suspect this thing will be illegal due to excessive RF emissions - for specs see the FCC regulations or RF regulations in your country.

The frequency will matter too, as that will be part of the RF issues, plus you could hit the resonant frequency of the filament and basically shake it apart.
