Hi, Im looking to get a fax machine for my home. However i want to keep my telephone if possible as well.
I only have one Line, but i heard that you can get fax machines that can run with Telephones on the same line. Is this true? and which brands do this?
Any information would be great!

Hi regarding comment No. 4. Thanks for your info, however im looking at a fax machine and a seperate telephone. I know there are fax machines out there that can run a seperate phone and fax on the one line, but i can't remember the brands/makes. That's why i have submitted this question on here.

Just about every standalone fax machine out there has a telephone handset built into the unit. Rather basic premise: if for some reason your fax didn't go through, at least the phone is right nearby to call the other person to see why.

err. my friend has one of those. her fax machine was also her telephone.
