Do we want another 9/11? I wish we didn't have to be there but we need to keep america safe. Hopefully we can get enough of 'them' trained to protect themselves & that would help us as well.

Agreed. But this isn't a poll. When we went to war, 70% of america believed that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11. (and a number of other lies that the Administration claimed were true at the time). So- we believe the stuff our leaders tell us, and then make our decisions.

I noticed that there are some die hards holding on to that 'history will judge this as a positive thing'. Just how F-ing bad does the situation need to get over there for them to open their eyes. If, on the odd chance we do keep the peace long enough for free elections to take place... the government that will be elected will be one that hates America.

This was absolutely the most foolish thing an administration has done in 30 years, and will be proven by history as the turning point of where America lost its stance as a world leader.

I am Iraqi and I think the severity of the incidents in Iraq, I hope that I shall have the opportunity to get out of it because of psychological suffering that we face in Iraq devastating

I've been in the military now for almost ten years. The way I look at it, that region has been in a state of flux for thousands of years. We go in there one day and expect to change it in weeks. We found that was impossible. I don't see a change for centuries. Yes, I think it was a waste.
