You need to do whats best for the interest of you and your family if they destroyed personal property and it's causing a loss to you financially and emotionally then you need to press charges. Ultimately you need to come first in situations like this and think about how they respected your things and if it really fair for you to take the loss. If blood was thicker than water they would'nt have destroyed your property right?

I would file charges - cause karma doesn't always work, but the wheels of justice, while they may grind slowly, grind exceedingly fine! In other words, your family members need to spend some quality time sitting in a 10 x 4 cell in orange jumpsuits.

These persons have violated your sanctity and life to the point that they do not deserve to be referred to as "family." What is the value of "family members" who would hurt you and violate your trust? Who is to stop them, if not YOU! By prosecuting them, you are teaching them a most valuable lesson in life. The reason they did this to you was because you ARE family. When you do this, you will grant yourself the ability to heal as well as make a public showing of your self respect and your unwillingness to be a victim to anyone. Do it. You can NEVER be considered in the wrong. THEY are! God Bless You!

well if it were me i guess it would depend on wich family member if it were my brother sister mom or dad i would probably just let things go. I mean there your family. Now if it were a cousin aunt or uncle i would press charges and get a restraining order it just really depends on you if you dont feel safe get a restraining order and press charges definatley but dont wait to long.

Since when did the title "family member" give that person the right to violate your home, break your things and attack you! What there's some kind of immunity connected to family members so they can just do as they please? Gimme a break!
If this person is doing it to you, they are doing it to others also. Prosecute the bastard!

I would say press charges. But you probably will not even read most of these since this is the 3rd time you have asked this question.
