You have a RIGHT (and a responsibility) to try to defend yourself, especially if you mean physically defend yourself (you didn't really fully explain)...if he has kicked you out, that sucks, but does the REASON really matter...maybe you are better off without him! I really hope you find happiness and take care of yourself!
