STay away from that meeting. YOu could be in danger from the others. Very dangerous territory.

You sound like you want to go to the Sexaholics Anonymous meeting just to get perverted with one of the addicts. That defeats the purpose of those meetings, which is to help them STOP being a sex addict!

It depends on what the reson for you being there is, if its really just to see if you yourself have a problem, then probably not, tho there are help lines you can call to get those answers, any reason other than that is wrong, these people are trying to get help with a serious problem and need to not have any set backs of any kind...

There is nothing wrong with being curious. Attending one of these meetings might open your eyes to better understand another's addiction.
Hopefully you'll fromt he meeting with new knowledge

because you are not having problems with the addiction if you are asked to introduce yourself please state that you are curious about the addiction. If it is an open meeting your honesty will be appreciated.
Many I am sure have gone to observe and most if behave are welcome to any addiction meeting.
No it is not bad to go to find out somethings. Enjoy the meeting

In the short term, probably not for you. However when you set back someone's recovery just to get your rocks off and they realize you've exploited their weakness for your own pleasure, run. Run away. Fast. Instead, go old school. Just buy a lot of liquor.

These groups are THERAPY for people with real issues...if you are not a sex-aholic then you don't belong there...how would you feel if you had a disease and went to a group and you found out that there were "fakers" there? Seriously, wouldn't you feel violated?

I think it would be a place for an easy pick-up. LOL. No kidding, that one room is probably full of diseases you don't want.
