Rotameter.
( Flow meter is an instrument which mesures flow rate through any section for e.g. a pipe, in terms of mass or volume per unit time.
There are different types of flow meter working on different principles for e.g. some works on the principle of pressure drop across an orifice or a venturi, in some the speed of a turbine(a rotor with blades) in the flow meter will measure the flow, rotameters are there where position of a floating object in a tube of increasing cross sectional area is caliberated as flow rate, other advanced type even mesures the frequency of the pipe through which it flows(which varies with the flow rate) & are caliberated to measure the flow rate. )
