Can the marshmellow in a jar be use to make Rice Krispy Treats? The marshmellow is already smooth...

You can substitute one 7 oz. jar of marshmallow creme in place of one 10 oz. package regular marshmallows.

I can't really say not, since I have never tried it. But my cooking logic tell me not, since, the marshmellow being already semiliquid by the adding of extra ingredients, it would never soldify enough to make rice krispies treats solid.

If it is made to stay smooth, it will usually stay smooth.

there is no substitute for marshmellow creame
it would be like defying the laws of gravity
