I dreamt about a wedding with a casket in it. Then my father in-law died just after his daughter's wedding. It was the eeriest thing I have ever experience. I have these kinds of dreams a lot.

As a child of about 10 or so, I was always aware of Iran, sometimes obsessed with it for no reason. Then came the hostage crisis.
I knew where I would live as an adult at 33 when I was 18. Not because it was beautiful or any thing, just a feeling.
And I described my wife, in detail to a friend 6 months before I met her.

dreams. I dreamt an entire situation where I was standing in my bedroom by the window folding clothes, heard sirens and people yelling that there was a fire somewhere outside. -The next day, I was standing by my bedroom window, folding clothes, I heard sirens and people yelling there was a fire across the street. (I practically fell over when that happened)
Another one (too long to really explain) was a dream before my first day at a new job where I met a group of regular customers and a waitress told me they were friends with the owner, one told me his name, etc.. -The next day, I met that group of people, they looked just like they did in my dream and the one guy had the same name. The waitress leaned over and told me they were friends of the owner. I quit the job.
There have been many others but they were usually minor things like dreaming I'm talking to someone I haven't spoken to in years and then waking up to the sound of the phone ringing and having it be that person.

Yes. They come in dreams. There is a reality basis for them in most cases. Our subconscious mind takes in everything. Our conscious mind only deals with what we need to pay attention to in the here and now. Our subconscious can tell us things through intuition or in dreams. I knew that my father was going to die even before he became sick. I knew that my mother had died before anyone called me. Once when driving along at night I knew that a friend was in trouble and where. A few times I have been warned about danger and took steps to prevent it which I would not have known to do otherwise. It has saved my life as least twice.

I dreamed of a black jaguar (animal) breaking into my house, through the garage for a few months, there was always a black jaguar in my dreams and I was always running away. Then one night I dreamed of the black jaguar coming into the house and I went out a window to get away. Then my dad comes home and says there is nothing I could do to prevent it and looks sad. The next day he dies while fixing his car, which was a black jaguar, and he died right outside of the garage, on the side where I dreamed the jaguar ran right through the garage door and got in the house.
After this happened I never dreamed of a black jaguar again.

Boyfriend went out shopping. I had the feeling his car was going to break down and leave him stranded. Went out to look for him and found him pulled off the side of the road with a blown gasket.
Not overly impressive I'm sure, but a true story.

Yes, rather often, in fact. I have had several dreams of jobs and people at the jobs I ended up working at, months or sometimes years before it happened. Guess those are the safest ones to talk about.
