You act like WE are the bad guys for denoucing the murder, suffering and ignorance that religion promotes. How can you not look at the Middle East and fear for the future of your own children?

For those Americans saying "I don't live in the Middle East" - the last I heard, the Middle East came to you on 9/11. The reason was because Islam saw Christian America supporting Jewish Israel. Thereafter, GW Bush declared a "holy war" against Islam.

Wha.. I thou...but the.....Middle east? That's a branch of one religion! Come on...You don't just denounce those things. Most religions denounce those things. You simply don't believe in God. So you make generalizations about religion, like how they are all about hurting and killing people that are different from them in order to prove your point. Most Muslims denounce the violence occurring in the middle east, however it also a political thing as well. It is way more complicated than just religion being the cause of all evil in the world. People fight. It is human. Eg. Soccer riots. No religion involved. But the sad truth is, sometimes religion gets blamed for being the reason people fight. But it is not true, we'd fight over anything really. But since people feel strongly about religion, it comes up a lot, and tempers flare. The only way to stop fighting, is if everyone felt the exact same way about everything. It can't happen. The way I don't fear for my safety or for my children, is that Christ has told me that He will be with me, until He comes again. So I can have peace and assurance.

What have we done which was a denial to your right to protect your offspring?
Looking into the United States or any other country for that matter will equally cause worry and fear for the future of our own children. There is no safe place in the world today.

Why should the Middle East cause me fear for my children? They dont live there, I dont imagine they will go there anytime soon. I am not a memeber of an organized religion, the Jesus I believe in does not promote murder, suffering or ignorance. You are sorely mislead with this question.
