Depends on the animal and if it can catch the AIDS virus - if it does then it has to have sex with the other animal to transmit the virus

HIV is the virus. AIDS is the syndrome. You can't inject AIDS. You inject HIV. And since HIV is a human virus, the animal could not be infected.

Is this for academic interest or you are going to try this out.
Apparently as the virus is called : Human Immunodeficiency Virus. So its predominantly for humans. But this actually came to humans from Rhesus monkeys. Also this is a very intelligent virus which changes its structure etc to suit the requirements. So it is possible that it gets propagated from one animal to another.

Its highly unlikely. Most viruses that effect people aren't transferrable to animals, however I can't assure that. Animal and Human bodies and make-ups are incredibly different and a virus that will kill a dog in five minute wouldn't even make a person sneeze.

Yes, in all probability. Of course, those saying no are liberals who are more concerned with the politcal protection of disease than common sense, precaution and facts.

I think only primates (humans, apes, and maybe some monkeys) can carry HIV.

Yes I would think so if they had sex. This would work on the same principle as humans.
