They have an article up on NFL.com w/the top 10 O & D for the league, then leaders for each position for each conference (who's starting) and (my subject...)--> Warren Sapp is leading DTs with 164,422 votes.

1) Warren isn't crappy, but he's past his prime and not the best DT in the AFC. Sure 8 sacks is nice, but where's big John Henderson of the Jags? That guy has been playing beastly. Also where's the love for my boy Jamal "The Wall" Williams, NT for the Chargers. He started last year and hasn't played any worse this year (infact he's already got his season best in tackles and got 2 sakcs, when previously averaging only 1.19 over his 8 previous years). A SB ring is going to be much sweeter, but I'd love as many of my Chargers to be represented.

2) only 100 thousand-ish!! That's 1/10 the votes Peyton and LT got. And I do not think it is because the choice of DT is that hard (ala, it was split between so many people). People are just voting for QBs, RBs, WRs and any hot-button names they hear on Sports Center or NFLTA (Champ Bailey, Urlacher). If you're going to vote, atleast vote for most of the positions (if you don't do O-line or ST that's reasonable since I voted for the O-line everyone knows (Hutch, walter jones, etc) and my own teams STs ------but there are enough big name DTs!!! )

They should require you to fill out the whole ballot before submitting it.

wasn't McNair like the 5th or 6th choice tho? (because so many people --Brady, Palmers, Brees, etc -- were injured & besides those 4 dominant guys, last year the AFC didn't have many good QBs, McNair and Trent Green were the only other decent ones) ---not important, but just putting that out there.

It's a popularity contest and it always has been. There are record breaking players that never even got close to the Pro Bowl because they were not popular. The Pro Bowl is more prom than fantasy football.

Yea I personally think the Pro Bowl is one big joke. Last year Steve McNair made it on as a back up QB. That to me was just a sentimental vote for him considering he was injured much of the season and put up poor numbers. Letting the fans vote for the Pro Bowl doesn't necessarily always mean the right guys get to go. I agree that Jamal Williams should go and Warren Sapp certainly shouldn't. Ive come to find too that its about the same guys in the Pro Bowl every single year. Last year Hines Ward made it in representing my Steelers, but because Peyton "overrated" Manning was QB, Harrison got a whole lot more play than him. Oh well they can have their glory in the Pro Bowl we won Superbowl 40 :o)

Wow did not realize revis has performed so little however Manning and Brees have placed beautiful well numbers except the choices of direction however you'll say thats given that either one of them misplaced their jogging sport for awhile and had been compelled to throw the ball over forty five instances a sport. Easy to opt for off a ball if you realize they'll throw.
