My parents have an '02 Honda CRV that they love. I don't know if it classifies as mid-size or smaller, but it gets amazing gas mileage (even better than my GM sedan). They've only had to do standard maintenance on it so far (oil changes, mostly). Hondas run forever and produce one of the most reliable automotive products in the world!

SAAB is owned via GM so as that they no longer in basic terms seem alike yet use the comparable areas. I even have the Lexus RX350 and it quite is a superb motor vehicle. 270hp yet gets 25mpg. it is likewise loaded with protection and convenience concepts at the same time with front/rear curtain airbags; tire rigidity video demonstrate; GPS with voice command & rear view digicam; ABS/VSC/TRAC; rain sensing wipers; etc. Plus it will maintain its resale fee and good no longer in basic terms like the others.

Mid size.. I would buy an Explorer 4.0 V6 or 4.6 V8 if you need more power..with the newer independent rear suspension.

i own a repair shop,and id have to say a KIA,,or a good Chevy blazer ,there probably two of the best ones to choose from,,good luck hope this help,s.have a good x-mas.
