I mean, its great that I don't have contacts to remove, but it just freaks me out that after so long I still feel the need to.

Maybe it is guilt related. There are poor people like me who wishes she could afford Lasik but has to settle for contact lenses. Then again I have dry eyes due to medications so I don't even know if they'll want to do Lasik surgery on me.

So don't feel guilty. I wear contacts and I think you deserve to feel confident about getting Lasik and not having to wear contacts.

Lasik has been so aggresively marketed that in some cases people do not understand the risks involved. Most common complaint is dry eyes. There could be many things wrong, such as the flap not healed in the proper place, etc. How is your vision?
