I currently use a program named "MyAlbum" and like it a lot, but I don't know for how long it will be around. It has an open object model and can run VBScript and Javascript programs to access the album, photos, comments, captions, etc. and export them to text files in any format that I create.

If I have to migrate to another digital photo album, which one will let me import the data (from text files, csv, Excel, etc.) for my existing albums?

BTW, my albums contain several thousand photos, and each is documented with comments, captions, timestamps, photographer, location, and camera settings.

Hey serious photographer!
I hope you keep originals on your machine! You are ready to make your own html pages to show off your work!

I've done some serious work in displaying photos, as have many other. Why should your album of photos look just like every other hack!
