You're not the one who did something wrong here. Yes I do believe that you should have spoken to your boyfriend as appose to yelling at him, but I can understand your frustration. You boyfriend however should not be hanging the phone up on your dad, because that is rude, if he's scared of your dad then that will only make it worst because now your dad knows that he's been hanging up on him. if I were you, I'd be glad he hasn't called, you can do better than that, you need a guy that's not so immature, even if he were upset at the way/ or what you said he still should have spoke to you about...instead of not calling you all this time. From what it looks like your relationship is over-so move on and make yourself available for a great guy that will respect you and your dad!

Obviously, he felt that he was being as much man as he could be, which wasn't very much. You may have said it in a different, and less threatening ( to his manhood) way, but you were right in your intent.
I can understand you're dad's anger at the guy just hanging up on him. That was so rude! If I were your dad, I'd make sure the t*rd never got to see you again!

You where so right your dad will always give you a hard time unless your man steps up to the plate and asks for you when he calls your bf must grow up and learn the ropes so be straight and if he does not want to then he truly does not want to be with you someone who wants to be with you will go through anything to be with you even if it means your parents.

hmm, you didn't do anything wrong in my book. Looks like your boyfriend is terrified of your dad. He may feel guilty about something that he has done with your or something and afraid your dad might find out. If he hasn't called in three weeks he may not be the guy for you.

I don't believe you were in the wrong here. If the person you are dating isn't comfortable asking for you over the phone, he probably isn't going to be comfortable being with you in public. Makes for some very tense situations. Sounds like he needs to mature a bit more.

Did he stop calling?
Of course not! If you're old enough to be dating, you're old enough to be a woman! Why waste time on a guy who's too chicken to ask for you on the phone? Confidence is WAY hotter than cowardice.
PLUS You want a boyfriend who can get along with your parents. TRUST ME! They don't have to love him, but there's no way you're parents will like a guy who's afraid of them. That lets them know they should suspect him of something!

No you certainly did nothing wrong. That was very rude of your boyfriend to just hang up on your dad like that. He sounds very immature to me and l think that you are better off without him. Better luck with your next boyfriend. Merry Xmas to you

If he hasnt called you in 3 weeks obviously hes a "CHILD" you dont need to be with someone like that.... thats definatly selfish of him... If hes going to be with you he needs to get along with you and your family!!!!!!! Find someone that respects your family!!
Good Luck

This boy not worth your time of day. you young keep looking.
