I got my blood work from the doc and it says I have a free testosterone level of 49.5pmol/L. My normal is 7 to 8pmol and the normal range is 8 to 12.1
I have taken 90mg of testosterone weekly for 9 years and never had a result more then 9.3 when I got my dose a little early. I give my own shots and I can be absent-minded (forgetting date). I don't have any reproductive organs.
The doc thinks I might have doubled up or something but that would be a huge mistake (5 or 6 doses instead of 1). I don't remember that though. Also my estrogen levels have not budged.
Any guesses I am stumped.

I take 1cc testosterone cypionate a week in a 3cc syringe, I would need to fill the syringe twice to get these level and I don't think I am that absent-minded.

The doc said the estrogen didn't rise because I don't have enough fat but body builder still do and I have more fat then them.

My doc is giving the shots for the next 4 weeks and then retesting. Should I ask for more aggressive investigation?

Testosterone is produced primarily in the Leydig cells of the testes. If you have no testicles, there is (almost) no way your body would have been able to produce that much testosterone. An incredibly small amount of testosterone is produced in the adrenal glands.

You can logically deduce that the testosterone was most likely introduced into your system via an external source, in this case, your injected dose.

The only other possible (although not pleasant, and less likely) situation is that you had a case of hyperplasia, (a tumor). There have been several cases of women with adrenal tumours, where high levels of blood testosterone were present. Basically, the androgen-producing cells of the gland multiply, and with them, the output of testosterone increases as well.

I would also have liver function checked, it may not be breaking down the testosterone correctly, if so; you may be suffering from liver damage.

Labs make mistakes. Get another check to be sure the numbers are right.

Perhaps your body has begun to make Testosterone on its own. My doctor told me that a normal male should have between a 200 and 900 count of Testosterone. I'm not sure what measurement your doctor is using but maybe you should ask him. Good luck. Pops

I would think that he should have reordered the test in case it was contaminated or just a fluke. I know you are on testosterone, is it possible that you have started producing it again....See if its possible that the adrenal gland is secreting more testosterone than normal......I would worry about a possible tumor....sorry.

Lets see........you've mutilated yourself and take injections that you're not suppose to take and you don't have reproductive organs ......is that why you say your stumped? Good luck "Tranny Boy" you've got problems that you haven't even considered yet.
