Go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com/

A legitimate site with no viruses or spyware, and a lot of "No CD" modifications to games. They can exist legally due to "fair use" laws.

There are cracks you can download for such programs but as far as I know they are illegal to use and a lot of the time contain viruses and keyloggers so not a good option really.
The best option would be to keep looking for the CD. :)
There is also some software such as Alcohol 120% that can copy the image if a CD to hard disk and emulate it as a CD when you need it without having to put the CD in. I dont know if that is legal or not but it is quite useful, however uses up a lot of space (copies CD to hard disk.)

Well if you know where to look some sites give you viruses so have a good anti-virus and firewall in check but if you use torrents sometimes you can get files with cracks as they are called with them. I have some for the sims 2 and many other games but as games get more advanced they get harder to crack but right now there isn't many games that don't have cracks except online games.

Yes, there are some hacks that will le you do that, but better that 75% of them are virused, so just play with the c/d in!
