Can dogs love? When was the last time you came home from work and your husband was at the door jumping on you and wagging his behind non-stop and letting out little shouts? Or, how about when you had a really bad day and your pup rest's his little head on your lap-- and will just stay there, content for hours because all he needs is your companionship, and he know's that he's making you feel better. What about when you scold him for chewing your best shoes and he looks at you with that beautiful face as to say he's sorry for chewing the shoe-- but he's even more sorry for dissapointing you, because all he cares about in this world is making you happy? Can dogs love? To any dog owner who's looked down into their pup's adoring eyes and seen the passion that dog's have for their master, the answer cannot be debated.

I believe that my dogs love me. I love them so much!! I'm overseas and I'm not coming home for another 3 months. In the 3 days preceeding my departure, my favourite dog knew something was up. She became very sulky, wouldn't eat, wouldn't play, and hid all day long. It was like she was so upset she wouldn't talk to me. I'd go and get her out of her hiding spot to cuddle her, and she'd be so sooky. When I left, she was apparently depressed and hid for days and waited for me when she wasn't hiding. Now when I talk to her on skype (so I can see her at the same time!!) she looks for me and trembles and shakes and then apparently she tries to find me and then she sulks and gets depressed again - so I try not to talk when she's in the room cause i don't want to uset her.

I believe dogs love too. I don't care what other ppl say. How is it possible that when I look into their eyes and they're looking into mine that they can't feel that. I full believe that dogs feel emotions. One of my dogs holds grudges and takes revenge, but that's another debate right? :)

Every living being in this world have feelings!!! Same goes with Dogs. They do love and are very loyal. Mans best friends. They do get emotional, and can feel your mood swings. They will know when you're angry with them, and when you wanna play with them. I think more than dogs loving you.... YOU will love your dog :)

I believe all animals are capable of loving. My 7 year old male rott his name is Buck proved it to me. About 4 years ago my nephew passed away. Buck stopped eating and it scared me. While my nephew was in the hospital I took Buck to see him in the court yard. When my nephew passed away I took Buck to the funeral and to the cemetery. It was about 24 hours after the funeral that Buck started eating again. I think he really misses my nephew. My niece was born a few months after my nephew passed away and they are inseparable.

My sister in law's dog is in love with my husband. I never saw anything like it. She stares at him with her big brown eyes and ignores everyone else in the room. When he pets her she rubs around like a cat and acts like she is so happy.

People who don't think animals can 'love' show an uneducated & elitist human attitudes.

All animals bond.
