While I know full hysterectomies exist, is there surgery to actually remove the vaginal canal/vulva itself? If so, can it be elective?

In cases where a woman wants to become a man they do this in a transgender operation and yes it would be elective as there is no medical need to have an operation like this. It is for the patient’s gratification purposes only.☼

What do you think that they do when they do a sex change operation and make a woman into a man?
They remove all evidence of womanhood and close up the woman cavity to construct male parts etc.
Yes it would be elective.

there is vaginal cancer which can result in a vaginectomy- removal of the vagina.

I don't think so....I wouldn't know why a woman would even consider doing that.
