I have been talking with a guy online for about 6 months. We talk, write, and use webcam. I have seen his work, his home, his family, and most of all his personality and character. He says he loves me, now, and i know he is pretty crazy about me. And we plan to meet in March. I feel that I am love with him, also. I even broke up with him for a month...had dates with other people...but I could not get him out of my head. (I had to do some talking to get him back. lol) But like he said, he could not let go of me,either. It was really useless trying to date other guys. I feel with him, like I have not felt since I was a young child...I am 53. My brother met his wife over the internet and they have been married 8 years now. But, I wonder am I just kidding myself...or could this be the real thing? It sure feels like it.

I think that's awesome. You can have a relationship with someone and for sure it's not about sex. Plus you are 53 so you probably know what you want in life. Go for it

It could be the real thing or it could be that you're in love with your idea of him. In internet dating, it would be very easy to overlook your partner's flaws because you haven't really been interacting with him. What you only see is his good side. You could take the relationship to another level though by meeting up with him and spending time together to see if you're really compatible with each other like you think. Remember, truth is only true because it is confirmed by one's experience and human experience is realized thru presence. Good Luck!

Well, I think it is possible. BUT you really need to meet someone and spend time with them before you know for sure. When you haven't actually met someone face to face it's to easy for them (or for you) to hide things that may be unsavory. Make sure you aren't falling in love with LOVE itself or the fantasy more than the actual person. In other words just BE CAREFUL, watch out for yourself and don't take everything at face value.

the first thing i would ask you is he wanting just to meet you.The next thing is does his whole family want to come too.Be careful do not get sucked in here.I would meet him only if he paid for his own fight.Do not throw money out there at all.IF he loves you he will pay.Do not move in with him.Just meet and see if you even like him .there has to be some reason he didn;t show himself to you on web cam why didn;t he show him self.SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT BE CAREFUL>

I would say it's possible, but not likely. It could true love and it could be infatuation. I guess the real test will be when you meet each other. Good luck!

meet him first and then decide things from there. i think it is possible to be in love with someone that you've never met in person. you'll just have to see if you really do after you meet up with him in march

i think your old enough to know what love is by now. personally when i think of dating online i just think of a bunch of phonies telling you what you want to hear. hopefully there are good ones out there, though. i hope youve got one. good luck and God bless

Its very possible, just because you have never met, it doesn't mean you don't know him or anything. You actually fell inlove with him and it's not in a sexual way or what not.
