I've been with my love for 4 years, but i recently moved to florida, from winnipeg .. (canada) for two years to go to school. i know im going to marry him, and we're looking to buy a house when i move back to the city, but my friend is always calling him to hang out and texting him to meet her places. they haven't known eachother that long two months maybe. i freaked out and asked him not to see her or hang out with her.. shes a really clingy girl.. a bit slutty, and im scared she'll try something. hes faithfull i know. was i wrong to ask that? am i to overprotective? HELP!!

there is nothing wrong with you feeling like this at all...and i know what you mean.. my love's ex goes to the same pub as us!!! and i know that it's not him you distrust it's her... i think you had to express your feelings to him otherwise he wouldn't have known you felt that way... has he stopped seeing her? i hope it all works out... my thoughts are with you.

girl, you need to listen your woman's intuition. this situation could possible mean two things.
1. your girlfriend is interested in him and trying to get his attention.
and she isn't a true friend because she hanging out with your boyfriend.
2. and if he's hanging out with her then their is probably a mutual attraction between them. i mean he is going to have female friends but you shouldn't have to ask him to leave her alone he should do it automatically.
all i have to say is rethink moving into a house with him cause he might want to have a party of three and not two.
