No, they are the second felon, because the illegal committed at least two crimes first - crossing into the USA illegally and then submitting fraudulent ID to the employer. All of us anti-illegals are as much for going after the hirers of illegals as we are about going after the illegals, themselves.

Most companies will tell you that they did not know that the papers were fake. The law does not require them to be able to tell the difference. The felony happened when the illegal alien gathered the information of a citizen with the intention of assuming their identity.

NO. The first felon was the illegal invader who used someone else's ID to get that job. It's called "Identity Theft" and it is fraud, a felony.

Yes they are. But the employers "claim" they either shouldn't have to police their employees and or don't have a way to verify the papers. The fact is if they look too hard, they won't have any cheap workers and will have to pay a fair wage.

How can they be 'first' if the illegal is already illegally there and has illegally obtained false papers and has illegally sought a job using them (felony fraud)?

90%of all companies have illegal hiring they just dont look in to it so it goes unnoticed or there is just too many too even bother .

Yeah, and it does matter. If companies didn't hire them, then they won't be here.
