Obesity surgery-like gastric bypass /lap band surgery / stomach stapling and gastrectomy have become very common now. My cousin got her Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery in India. She has lost more than 65 lbs in 5 months and is very happy with the results. The price for obesity surgery is very less in India. My cousin just paid 25% of the cost she was quoted in America. She got her surgery from a company called Forerunners Healthcare. Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India.
I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as obesity surgery and weight loss surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. As a doctor I personally believe that your Obesity surgery can be easily handled in India.
Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost Obesity surgery in India. Indian corporate hospitals are comparable to hospitals anywhere in the world. In fact, India has medical facilities that are comparable with the USA, UK and Canada. India offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state of the art Hospitals and the best medical experts. With the best infrastructure, the best possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive prices, you can get the treatment done in India at the lowest prices.

100lbs in eight months means losing weight FAST. And you end up baggier if you lose the weight faster. The slower you lose it, the better it shrinks back into place. I've lost 55lbs since Feb of this year and find strength training and yoga help with this too. Honestly the surgery is pretty severe and scares the hell outta me. Tune to Discovery Health and watch that special the Incredible Shrinking Woman and that will burn you on weight loss surgery for EVER.
12/20 update: Weight training is your best bet. Gastric surgery is risky and India is NOT the place to get it. Hoodia doesn't work and tofu is good for you but not magic. I know because I am in the same position you are, Cept I'm not getting married. Good luck!

You do NOT wish to shed those kilos rapidly. It took you your whole lifestyles to get this a ways obese; you can not simply erase it in a single day. Losing weight releases exact pollutants into your bloodstream; I have obvious men and women who misplaced a high-quality deal of weight rapidly, and so they all seem instead faded and sickly. It would possibly take a yr or so lose all this weight. Do NOT speedy. Do NOT take a look at a few nutrition you notice in a journal. Everyone is unique; so much of them do not paintings. Do a few study or speak to a nutritionist, if you happen to wish. The 2 matters you ought to do is consume much less and consume healthful, and recreation extra. Don't sacrifice vitamins for energy. Do cardiovascular recreation (begin with going for walks, cycling, or swimming) forty five - 50 mins an afternoon, something you'll manage, and exchange it with weightlifting to hold muscle tone (gentle weights, many reps). If you are a man and also you wish to construct muscle tissues, then you'll use heavier weights. Both burn fats and energy. Good good fortune to you.

The only thing I could suggest is lifting weights.
8 months is a long time, go to a gym and talk to a personal trainer. I doubt the saggy underarms will completely disappear, but there will be a significant improvement if you start weightlifting and keep at it. Who needs surgery anyway, dont you want to look in a mirror and say "Damn, I did this!"
You go girl! Good luck!

You are very lucky to have someone who loves "you" for who and what you are....not many are that lucky.
HOWEVER....to answer your options to surgery question....I've heard and read alot that if you eat tofu (I know, gross huh?) there are alot of natural components to tofu that help restore skins elasticity. Not saying it will give you the 16-18 yr old arms you had at one time...but it IS supposed to help cut down on the "penny purses" that are bound to show up w/ loosing a great deal of weight. The only draw back is, is that you DO have to consume a pretty decent amount of it. Do a tofu recipe search...some of it isn't all THAT bad...especially if you're serious about the outcome>
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!!

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body building so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! You can get info or order it at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or online at http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

when you loose a large amount of weight, you're going to have excess skin. and i think that surgery is the only way that you can remove it. it's been stretched so much and is not gonna shrink back and fit your body. you can try to excercise and tone as much as possible, but you will still have some sagging skin.

From what I understand, no. You might be able to tone up the muscles, but hanging skin is hanging skin. I have it too. Good luck on your 100lbs.

To help with that but a pair of five pound weights.Lay on your back on the floor or on a step bench. Start with your weights on your chest and slowly raise them towards your forehead. Repeat for as long as you can. Do sets of ten, building up to as many as you can do until your arms start to shake or burn. Good luck!
