If there is a God, he or she most likely does not care in the least whether or not you believe in him or her. That's my guess. If you were God, do you think your EGO would be that big that you would trouble yourself to go out of your way to punish someone who didn't believe you existed? Do you think that at the "end of the world" God pulls out a list and divides us all into 2 groups - the ones who believe in him or her and the ones who don't?

First, I don't think it really makes sense for a mortal to define a God's morals.

Second, you used the male "god" with the female "she", so you're probably a bit confused there.

Third, the male "God", at least as defined in Christian scripture, seems to have taken the right to punish whom he pleases. Man really has no say in the matter.

Fourth, the Goddess, and Pagan Deity in general is not so full of damnation and judgement as is the Christian one. Pagans tend to believe in reincarnation, and this would indicate that an atheist in the present life is simply on a part of his or her eternal journey, and that when they reach the Summerlands, they'll look at this life just as any other individual.

So, your question has a few conflicting themes, but I hope I addressed them adequately.

BTW, if you were intending to tweak a Christian with the word "she", I think that the word "atheist" already did so, and they would find the last word simply a continuation of the attitude.

God refers to Himself in the masculin.... and God makes the rules...play by God's rules or, ultimatly, suffer the concequences... mankind dose not get to make it's own rules.... God is The creator and you, and I, and everyone else, belong to God. He can do anything He wants to with us.
