I find that the American guys are emotionally distant, not romantic, very egoistic in bed and superficial. What do they look for in a woman? Cheap sex? Food? What?

Try dating a Russian. They are real monsters by comparison. No respect, no nothing. let alone romantic or emotinally close.
But this is all generalization which is not nice. Some of them can be very very nice and exactly what you are looking for. Remember, it doesn't matter what most of them are like. you need just ONE that treats you right.

I don't think it's completely fair to group all men together like that. Yes, our culture has turned women into shallow, ignorant, ditsy bimbos, and it's turned our men into pleasure seeking, perverted, sexist animals.
But there are always exceptions. Like my love, there's a guy who isn't like most. He and I connect in a beautiful way, it's such an unbelievable feeling, yet so real. He's the man who respects me for who I am as a human, he's not sexist, he sees everyone equally, and he would stay by my side for my whole life, even if I voiced that I never wanted to to have sex. Wait for it, you'll find a man you love in this way, just hope he feels the same connectedness.

What is sad is the fact I treat women like they are not a piece of meat. I treat them with respect but I have learned that most women have no clue as to exactly how they wish to be treated. To give you a idea of what I am speaking about when they decide to tell me they do not wish to be with me anymore I hear " You are nice but.....". I do not look at just what is outside but what their inside or soul. Folks find it surprising when I tell them I have not has sex in over six years now, I told them I am not going to settle. I do not worry about distance as long as we speak often and are working towards being a physical couple.

no, you are right. at least the ones ive met lately are emotionally distance and dont know the first thing on how to romance a woman. all they want is food and someone to f**k them and not give back in return.
