Yes but the amount is relative to how much you jog.

Yes. Cutting out "pop" (depending on how much you drink) can cut out about 500 calories a day, if you've been drinking 2 or 3 a day. If you increase you exercise activity, a couple of hundred more calories a day and still ate the same; you could probably reduce one to two pounds a week. Replace the "pop" with water and it will help your metabolism even more.

It depends, by cutting out the pop you will reduce your calorie intake a little and by jogging 20-30 mins a day will help you burn more calories. The goal is to burn more calories than you consume to lower your weight. To accelerate the weight loss you should add in weights to build muscle mass which is denser than fat.

Well, they just came out with a study that says even diet soda is causing people to put on weight. So stick to water and adjust your diet to healthier foods. And the jogging does help.

It really all depends. If you eat 6,000+ calories of other things, then reducing your soda intake is just a drop in the bucket.
Pay attention to the amount of calories you take in every day. I would reccomend gradually reducing what you eat until your down to 1,000-1,300 calories a day.

Fact is that in order to lose weight you must burn more cal. than you take in. So you'll really need to be working out hard if you dont change your eating patterns. However if you are a healthy eater than you shouldnt have any problems. Good luck!

I read that if your drink soda daily, you gain one pound every month. So just by cutting that out and drinking water instead will help.
