Why do I always keep hearing that short girls want to marry a guy who's tall so their kids would be tall?
Don't they know that, though genetics, height is PASSED DOWN THROUGH THE MOTHERS SIDE? Case in point, me. My dad is 5'10" and my mom is 5'1". I'm a 5'5" 23 yr old male Stanford psychology student. Subsequently, I have remained a virgin, never had a girlfriend, and had to suffer my mothers repugnant genetic sins and live life as a 5'5" cripple.

Notice in the second paragraph of "Determinants of growth and height" it says:
"Genetically speaking, the heights of mother and son and of father and daughter correlate, suggesting that a short mother will more likely bear a shorter son, and tall fathers will have tall daughters."
I know some of you will say "not true!," but cases where a mother is short and her sons are tall are only if that mothers father is tall. If you're a short women with short parents your son WILL be short.

so, SHORT WOMEN - Please consider not having kids especially males so they won't have to suffer like I do.
And another thing, stop blaming short men for everything. They're the ones suffering from the repugnant genes of short women.
Short women, quite literally, MAKE short suffering guys such as myself.

People aren't blaming short men for anything.
They want you to take responsibility for your lack of relationships because of your attitude, not your height.
I think enough ppl have shown you that you can be happy and successful no matter what your height is.
If you aren't married, remaining a virgin is what you should be doing anyway. I don't know why ppl are so eager to make sure STDs will still be around for future generations.

Oh stop feeling sorry for yourself. I am 5'10 and my husband is 5'4 and we have been madly in love for 30 years. He is the biggest man I have ever known.We have 4 children ranging in height from 5'8 to 6'3. I have never had a problem with his height. Do people look at us strange? Yes, and we just laugh about it. Not only am I tall but I am also very attractive. Most people think that he must be worth millions but he's not.I just love him for him. Personality is everything. He is always fun and interesting. I have never been bored. So maybe you need to work on what's inside of you instead of how high you stand. Women like men with good self esteem and a sense of humor. You have to be able to laugh at life cause it's just to darn funny.

Buddy, I don't think your problem is your height. I've seen plenty of short guys get girls. I obviously don't know you personally, but I think your problem is that you're self-conscious about your height. As I'm sure you've heard, its the confident guy who gets the girl! Hell, in high school, there was a guy who was only three feet tall who was dating an absolutely beautiful girl. I'd stop blaming your height and start blaming other things.

Excuse me! I happen to be 5'3" tall--I married a man 5'10" tall-my son happens to be 6' tall.
And by the by the way-you smartass--my current husband happens to be 5'5" tall and is no where near being a cripple so why don't you just grow up and quit your whining.

Oiy seriously GIVE IT A REST!!! no one wants to hear you talking about how short you are that's how you are and if you want go get surgery or wear flat tops but stop freakin complaining about it! And let short women do what they want to do shortie!

after reading your rant and ridiculous viewpoint, I don't think your height is the reason you are still a virgin ... why don't you go off and put some of those psych courses to use and get over yourself

Sooooo not true! I am 5'1 and my brother is 5'10. My mom is 5'1 and my father is 5'4. So can you explain why my brother is 5'10? This is a rude comment to make and really NOT a question!

then why is it when i see one of my friends who just happens to be vertically challenged (midget) with her "normal" size children? you sound like you have a problem with your size. geesh, and 5'5 isn't that short.
