Some fruits are fine. My dog loves banana, but she doesn't get an entire banana. I'm adding a link to a great site that lists the kinds of food you should never give your dog. You can print it out and keep it on the fridge. Never give your dog grapes or raisins either, and definitely , NO CHOCOLATE.

Here's a site with some good info about fruit but I'd use it like a treat and occasionally in small portions. A puppy that age, maybe wait a bit

As a rule it is not good to give a puppy or dog people food of any sort.Personally myself every time i give my dog people food my dog get sick so i don;t do that any more.If he is a puppy keep him on dry food and their are dogie bones so his teeth will get stronger. There baby teeth do fall-out usually before 1year old.If you do decide to give your puppy people food it will affect there teeth in the long term.My advice to you do not start feeding him what you eat.One last thing chocolate or onions for a dog is just like pi son to a dog..It will kill your dog. Some people do not no this..

It really depends on the fruit. One that I know NOT to give dogs is grapes! It really messes with their digestive systems. Acidic fruits like oranges probably aren't the best type of fruit either. You need to be careful. You can probably contact your local vet and see what kinds of fruits are ok, and what kinds aren't. My dog personally doesn't like ANY kind of fruit...but she's picky anyhow.

At 4 months it is okay to give your dog fruits. We did and there are no serious consequences or anything.

Things you have to have to know though is that there are so fruits out there that may be poisonous to your dog. Don't give your dog grapes, they're not good for it. Here is a site with a list of things that are poisonous to dogs: http://www.hugapug.us/Poison.html

Also, your dog may not like certain fruits. My dog loves apples but hates bannanas.

Yea, its OK to give it to your puppy as a treat, but not on major food source for your puppy. Especially when he/she is only 4 months old.

Fruits are fine for adult dogs, but puppies dont have a fully developed digestive system so you'll probably give your pup a tummy upset. Usually vets recommend nothing but special puppy food for growth.

Puppies and Dogs can have people food. When it comes to meats with bones, you must give your dog the meat raw because the bones loses it protein.Yes fruit is fine, but just don't feed you puppy too much.

Normally dogs shouldnt have fruit unless you want them to have the runs. This esspecially applies to a puppy since it can mess with their internal system and in rare cases damage them for life. P.S. Unless a dog is alergic to chocolate it is fine(which is rare). My dog always have chocolate cats on the other hand are highly alergic

Fruits and veggies are great snaks in moderation of course. You should avoid onions, grapes, mushrooms and chocolate. Apples, bananas, carrots, celery, they are all good treats.
