I'm just saying your opinion is not an answer to a question. I see questions on here about the healing process, good parlors, expirences, ect.. and people go to them that talk about how much they hate tattoos. if you don't have anything to add to the conversation then stay out of it.

I have pondered this same question myself on numerous occasions...

I think for many people it may be a vain attempt of notching up answers to make themselves look smart. Most of the time their opinions are worthless because they have little or no knowledge about tattoos, tattoo history or culture.

It appears to be a universal theme here at Yahoo Answers. I just started today and I have come across many responses that serve only one purpose, make the asker feel bad. But, as I tell my husband when he gets all bent out of shape, "Move on, to pay them any heed is to do exactly what they wanted." Remember a person who is seeking attention will look for it via negative behavior if that's the only way to achieve it.

I wonder what makes them think to come to the tattoos category in the first place? Maybe they are thinking of getting one, but have to be ignorant and lame, and say stupid things... I don't know.. but I agree with ya.

It's kind of like when someone sees a tattoo of yours and the first thing they say is, "Why did you do that?" I'm like, mind your own business-I did it, because I wanted to.

i feel the same exact way you do.....i went to a question that asked "what was your first tattoo?"

some scmuck answered "i dont have one...i think they are trashy"

to me, they are just opening themselves up for criticism.....i like to click on their profiles, look at the questions they have asked, and answer all of them with stupid and rude answers....just so they know how it feels!!!!!

I have a tattoo and I like mine, but some people are curious to know other opinions...just because you are doesn't mean you can speak for everyone else. That's lame.

Unfortunaately anytim you put your views, subject matter out under the publics eye you are exposing yourself to negative public scrutiny-my suggestion is that since its only someone expressing a opposite to your life choice and actually NOTaffecting you in any way to ignore, excuse and get on with life
