Invest for my retirement...

Well, there would be a lot of smart choices for me to make...but assuming I didn't have to use it towards bills, tuition, rent, or anything of the sort, here are some things I think I'd do:

1) take advantage of the opportunity of being able to buy someone (singular or plural) that thing they really want but never bring themselves to spend the money on.

2) treat myself to the same type of thing in #1

3) a house appliance or decoration

4) small vacation...in my opinion, more valuable than four grand is a couple of days just to mellow out and spend time in a stress-free environment

I would split 1,000 between my 3 aunts and mom to pay rent. I would give them each 200$ extra for anything else. I would take 200$ and treat myself to some nice D&G sun glasses. Then take 1,500 and buy my 13 cousins x-mas gifts.I would give the other 500 to charity and save the rest to pay bills and as savings to buy a used car in future.

First, I couldn't resist your nickname, & your photo is VERY appealing. Second, it's sort of a satire on the ludicrous Oprah question. I would add it to the money buried in the back yard & buy one heck of a hot car--black, something that really rocks. Depending on how much is left; I keep sending my dog out to dig up here & there...

The "$4,145.00" amount just adds to the humour! Kepp your feet happy, & we'll all love you.

Well, I would put in a bid for Iverson to come and play Basketball for my backlot team. But if the guy brings any of that attitude he is known for, he is going to be riding the pine most of the game.

I would remember the time before I had $4,145.00, worrying about making enough to get through the month, and I would keep the $4,145.00 so that I could have the happiness of not feeling like that again.

I would put it towards the start-up capital needed to begin an alternative energy company that will develop new technologies that will lead to cleaner lifestyles throughout the country and ultimately the world.

Pay my credit card off entirely, prepay bills so I can have a cushion in case there is sometime in the future if I can't afford to pay, and have a wonderful night out with my friends.

I would apply $3,000.00 toward paying off bills, buy livingroom furniture, and send some to my Children International child in Ecuador as a Christmas gift.

The best way you can help people is to give them a job. If they can 't work (sickly), then help them out financially. I would use the $4.145.00 to start a business. Then I would hire people who are in desperate need of a job. To help out people who are not able to work, I would investigate in what is the best way I can help them out. In essence, I would use the money to help others out and in doing so make my dreams of owning a business come true.
