If you believe God created the universe, did he only create life on this planet? If intelligent life does exist on any other planet in the universe, wouldn't he have created them too? Would that mean that they need to find religion as well? Would they need their own religious text? I don't see how they could be Christian since Jesus supposedly lived on Earth. Does that mean they were given a different savior or are they all going to hell just because they are not on Earth? Does God not care about them or do the rules just not apply to 'aliens'? If you believe in the Bible does that automatically mean that you know intelligent life could never/never did exist anywhere in the entire universe?

I'm being serious, what are your thoughts on something like that.

I also agree there has to be life out there, but what do you think the situation is when it comes to them and religion? Do they sit around and argue which religion is 'right'? Does anyone believe that Christianity or any other religion is literally universal?

Jesus told the story of the ninety and nine sheep who were safely in the fold. He came to this world to save the one who was lost. It is clear that Jesus is talking about other worlds when He speaks of the ninety and nine because they were never lost, they never sinned, therefore, they never left the fold and needed a Savior. This planet is represented by the one sheep that was lost. We are the only planet in the universe that has fallen into sin. Jesus came to this lost world to seek and to save. We are a lesson book for the entire universe. If you think about it, sin is like a virus, a malignant cancer. Once Satan sinned in heaven, God quarantined sin to this earth so that it would not spread to the rest of the universe. Satan was then given the opportunity to showcase his form of government and the result have been the sinful conditions in which we now live. To show the results of sin, God did not need to have multiple planets sin and be saved. One was enough to show to the whole universe the hideous nature of sin and the love and justice of God in dealing with this malignancy.

I'm not Christian, but I come from a strong Hindu family, although I'm still young and wouldn't consider myself all that religious just yet. I believe though, considering how immense the universe supposedly is, there are other planets that support other life forms. Whether they are intelligent or not, I don't know. They could possibly be so advanced, they don't have religion to explain things, or they could be simple bacteria-like aliens.

To the Latter-day Saint, the Pearl of Great Price is a collection of works translated from Moses and Abraham. In Moses 1:33, it tells us that God created worlds without number for his own purpose. It stands to reason that man was also put on those worlds.

Along with this information, you can read more about the planets, the stars, and other heavenly bodies made clear to Abraham ih Chapter 3 of Abraham.

I truly believe that God did create intelligent life on other planets, in other galaxies. We don't really know the size of the whole universe, do we?
But you know what? I think those other intelligent beings are human just like us! None of these 'aliens' that are depicted in sci-fi movies. They're just someone's wild nightmares, lol. But seriously, aliens are just people that are not from where you are from.

I think the possiblity exists, but how would that matter? Since it's a serious question, maybe God did create life elsewhere, do you not think that He is also capable of bringing those people to salvation? It's certainly a contemplative issue, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think it'll much matter...

Absolutely I believe there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. In a nearly infinite universe, it's downright stupid IMHO to think that this is the only speck of dirt that has developed intelligent life.

If not; That is a terrible waste of space or the Creator has BIG plans for humanity.
