You're going to have leftovers, which means I'll start looking for recipes to rejuvinate those babies. Here's how I calculate it, just the meat product alone, a person will eat a porsion the size of the palm of their hand or 1/4lb., 1/2lb that's double in case someones really hungery, so that gives you at the most 4lbs. Hope this will help you and others for the future.Remember, no dessert unless you eat everything on your plate. Merry Christmas

That's more than enough meat. With all of the delicious extras, you will definitely have meat left over for turkey sandwiches on the 26th. I usually figure no more than 1 pound of meat per person - and that usually is too much. One pound is just an easy number to work with. Even with the bones, a 12 pounder will satisfy all. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

Yes, I always calculate 1/2 pound of poultry per person or 1/4 pound of boneless roast per person. It is true that some grown men (or growing teenagers) can eat a pound of pork roast but even if everyone is a super-big eater the roast along with the 12 pounds of turkey should guarantee plenty.

Your doing great, plenty of meat as well as side dishes too. Hope you have a very merry Christmas, and take time to enjoy the day and not spend the whole time making every one else happy and working your self to death.

Yes
For each person think one pound of meat because of the bones and other stuff. So yes you will have plenty of meat, ( unless your family are BIG eaters)
