I honestly do not know why people are always bashing them. I use to be one a few years ago and I found them to be the nicest and kindest people ever. I left when I realized that there was no god but there was no chasing me down and forcing me to stay. I can't figure out why people say bad things about them without talking to a member or someone like me, a former member. even though I have left the Kingdom Hall I still keep in touch with them because they are kind people. And if anyone had ever gone to a meeting then you would know that the people there are encouraged to think things out for themselves.
My favorite part of the meeting was the part where we could raise our hands and give our opinions on bible verses and articles from the Awake magazine.

Being a Jehovah Witness or not being a Jehovah Witness that is the question? I read, study, and live the bible, so what does that make me? Jehovah is God's name. I am a witness to His teachings in the bible. The one book He has given us to live by. Includes the 11 Commandments. The Ten in the Old Testament, plus 1 in the New Testament as commanded by God. Love One Another. Reading, studying, and living God's Commandments, having a close relationship with Jehovah, really help me in my daily life. He also answers my prayers. I am a Witness to Jehovah, but do not belong to the congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. God bless!

I was once a Jehovah's Witness, for seven years! They are good people, better than most. A lot of what they teach is the truth but not all of it. They place themselves about the Jewish people and believe themselves to be the new Jewish people, which I still not sure where they got that from. They talk a lot about brotherly love but if you were to need something like financial help you can forget it, you will be on your own. But out side of that and a few other things, they have more of the truth than most of them.

not to be mean ,but Jehovah witness is a man made religion that i don't believe in. it has good efforts or some good intentions for being a good person but it is false doctrine and there is enough proof available to prove that.

I am not a Jehova witness but i have known them for a while. I have noticed that it really helps them: for example they have answers for many questions that they proof directly from the bible.

I have never met one that I know of, but I don't agree with their beliefs, so they probably wouldn't help me with my daily life.
