I would never choose to get stuck at one age. Each step in life has good and bad points, but mostly each stage has lessons that can't be learned until you are in that time frame. Each stage has magical moments and experiences. Each stage is wonderful.
Looking at them from a young persons perspective, this is not so, but looking back shows it is true.

I can't imagine wanting to live forever. It would be extremely tiring.

If I had to live forever, I'd want to be able to change times occasionally, I would not want to live in any period continuously.

I'd like to visit specific periods of time.

I'd like to be a prisoner at Auschwitz and survive.
I'd like to be a friend of and travel with Eleanor Roosevelt.
I'd like to be a member of the crew at Shakespeare's Globe
I'd like to be a member of the 1st mission landing on the moon.
I'd like to take part in the Oklahoma Gold Rush.
I'd like to be a gangster in the early days of Las Vegas.

As you can see, there are lots of things I'd like to do.

If anyone is interested in reading something like this, you might try the Riverworld books by Philip Jose Farmer.

Interesting question, thank you for adding it. Happy Christmas.

If I could live anywhere at anytime it would be in Athens before the Persian wars so I could see the greatness of the Parthenon. Or it would be in Rome during the reign of Augustas Caesar to witness the great reign of Augustas Caesar. Also the birth of Christ so I could see diety so humbly presented to mankind.

This age, my age.
Reasons: Because I can respond to your question anonymously while taking cabbage soup of which you'll never know the taste and which you'll never know how I prepared and never will know that my cousin sitting next to me now is brilliant but talks nonsense about his sweetie who ran away last night to a place you'll never know and that I am tired of this blah...blah...blah (Unless I tell you!) Yes . . .get my point?
