I have been with my husband for 3 years now, he is in the process of being deported. We don't know what is going to happen. We may have to move to Mexico but we don't want to!! We have a 16 month old daughter who really misses her daddy. I know what the power of prayer can do and so I ask you, regardless of what your thoughts may be on the immigration subject would you find it in your hearts to pray for me and my family, that we can stay together and not have to suffer anymore??

Yes. I am impressed that you have enough faith in prayer to make this request. I know that your faith has made God smile. And God rewards faith. And He definitely answers prayer. I notice that several of the people already said a prayer for you by the time they replied to you. Wow. However I want to ask that everyone please continue to pray for this family, not just pray once. Also, I keep a prayer list (with everyone's name and the things they need prayer for) taped to my bedroom door of people I pray for nightly. If you either email me or post you and your husband's name(obviously, first names only), I would be happy to put you on my daily prayer list. I also have some friends who also pray for people, and I will pass your prayer request on. There is a duality to prayer, it touches not only the person who is being prayed for, but the person who is doing the praying as well. So you helped a lot of people today. Also, since I believe in the power of prayer, I am going to ask you to please pray for me. Please pray for Mike S. for willingness. Thank you and may God answer your prayer sooner rather than later.

16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If God is so effective, then why does your newborn choose *you* to instruct her approximately Him? it particularly is extremely style of creepy to make certain each and every of the responses describing a thank you to indoctrinate your newborn from delivery. because babies settle for as authentic quite plenty something their mothers and fathers tell them, that is going to be your daughter's reason for believing in God. guess what occurs whilst she gets older and is going to college and probably takes a pair of human psychology instructions? she is going to attain that she would not have any stable reason to have self assurance interior the Christian God different than "that's what i substitute into advised to have self assurance as a newborn, and teenagers have self assurance regardless of they are advised". you're off to a great start up at making yet another atheist!
