For how gross peppermint schnapps is it's really good in hot chocolate. It's always good with Baileys or Kahlua too. Have fun.

A cup of old good Hot Cocoa with a candy cane or some cinnamon turns out to be nice.

Try a shot of Baileys or creme de menthe. If you don't mind more of an "alcohol" taste try Three Olives Vodka in Vanilla or Chocolate.

My vote is for chambord (black raspberry liqueur), but an orange liqueur such as Cointreu would be awesome, too. If you want to use ordinary liquor, rum would be okay. Many people use bourbon, but I personally can't stand the taste.
