Well down here in southern Louisiana we got some crazy names! we have Grandparents and great grandparents:
Mammy & Poppa - my daughter's grandparents, husbands 'rents
Maw & Poppy - my husbands grandparents
Granny & Pa - my husbands other grandparents
Mamite (my husbands great grandmother, just turned 89!)

Im from california and i just called all mine 'grandma and grandpa.' But my husband swears ppl in cali are the weird ones!

I will answer then I have a funny to add.
My children call their grandmother on my side Nana
The other one is called Grammy
Grandpas are grandpas.
My funny is a friend of our family calls there grandmother Mimi, well we were all together and my 4 year old calls her privates mimi. Make long story short I didn't put two and two together till the day my daughter said her mimi hurt in front of the grandmother. Just thought I would add that.

Grandfather ( Father's side) - Granddad
Grandmother ( Father's side)- Nonna
Grandfather ( Mother's side) - Grandpa - Pawpaw

My kids have papa's, nana's,grandma's, grandpa's. The best one is that my stepmother is Grandma Janice to the kids, but my 2y/o boy will only call her Grandma PeePee. lol. We have no idea where this came, but it makes for some great laughs ;D

I was brought up with Mamaw and Papaw. My husband was brought up with Grandma and Grandpa. So our kids us both.

I called my Mom's parents, mammaw and pappaw. My dad parents were grandma and grandpa. My kids call my parents, mammaw and pappaw and my husbands parents, granny and pappy.

I just call them Grampa and Gramma, but I call my bestest-friend-in-the-entire-world's granparents Mam and Pap, lol.
