Depends on the state. Some allow a drivers license if the person is here legally, and has the right documentation on their passport/visa etc. Others do not. Check on the web for the state you are living. They all have DMV websites

yes, if u are legal and not eligible for social security. You can convey it to the DL office ,& follow the instructions they give you to get the license.

not now they cant,,use to you could get what was called a temporary one,,this was for visitors ,and people who worked here from other countries,,but since 9-11,that don't happen no more,,good luck,hope this help,s.,have a good x-mas.
