A few pit bulls are legal in charles county those owned by residents before 1996 were grandfathered in, and owners pay $50 every year to keep them. The number registered is about 100, though the county brought in about 1,000 illegal pit bulls last year alone.

I'm originally from Maryland I know that in PG County, you had to get the dog registered and pay a little fine. Just make sure you always have your eye on the dog and take good care of it! :)

I"m not sure but most home owners need to have extra home owners insurance for owning a pitbull

well, if you dont know the answer to that question, you havent done your research and shouldnt get one. contact your local humane society or animal control office, they should be able to give you that information.
