If none of the recipes people gave you look appealing check out www.allrecipes.com, there are usually pretty good descriptions of what the finished product is supposed to come out like and there is also a ratings system so that you can see if the people that tried the recipe liked it.

Does this have to be pie? I make the best cobbler! Mmmm!

Filling-
blackberries, lotsa sugar, some cinnamon, a little nutmeg, about a tablespoon of flour.

I spray a glass baking dish, empty the above in and for the top, I use a good old Scottish shortbread recipe for the top:

1 pound unsalted butter
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar

you may want to add a little bit more sugar

what I do is I just take pieces of the above and place them on top of the cobbler. No rolling not much work.
you bake in 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes and let it cool. I like to have vanilla ice cream on mine. It's really sweet just the way I like it.

4 cups blackberries
1/2 cup white sugar and just a tea spoon more
3 tablespoons tapioca
2 tablespoons butter
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.)
In a large mixing bowl, combine blackberries, sugar and tapioca. Be careful not to damage the berries. Pour into pie crust. Cover with top crust, seal and crimp edges, then cut slits in the top for steam vents. Top with pats of butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Fresh Blackberry Pie

Filling:
3 to 4 C. blackberries
1 3/4 C. sugar
2 T. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/2 T. butter (for top)

Crust:
2 C. flour
1 C. shortening (cold)
1/2 to 3/4 C. cold water
1/2 t. salt

Mix all filling ingredients together except butter.

For crust, cut shortening into flour and salt until it forms pea-size bits. Toss bits with cold fork until you can form a ball in your hand. Roll out on floured board or stone. Line pie pan with crust, add filling, dot with butter and top with crust. Bake 350°F. for 45 minutes to an hour, until done.
