WOW, I just found out I am truly evil. I am pro-choice, and for homosexual rights. I guess that answers your question, it's me. No, but seriously, I don't think there is a such thing. I don't believe anyone can be truly good or truly evil. (Don't give me Jesus and Satan as examples, they are the exception to the rule) You can be mostly one or the other, but there is no true evil or good on this earth. But, that's just my opinion.

Good and Bad are a matter of perspective. In some societies it would be for example considered bad to eat someone but in another place this could be perfectly acceptable.

Evil on the other hand could be defined as a state of always engaging in destructive behavior, or, only doing things that directly benefit one's self regardless of the cost to others in terms of life, freedom, pain, loss etc.

If our purpose is to try and improve ourself then evil would be a continual progress in the opposite direction.

The problem with a definition for evil is that you need something to measure it against e.g. "good" A simple definition of this is actions that do not cause others to suffer in any way or a constructive or neutral set of activities and actions.

When they try to do harm to others. For instance, if I smoke that is sin but if I give smokes to a child that is evil. If I think something bad about some one without knowing all of the facts that's sin but if I go around telling other people what I think (gossip) that is evil. If I think about punching some one that is sin, actually punching the person is evil. If I think about having sex with my neighbour's wife, that is sin...if I actually have sex with my neighbour's wife that is evil.

Consider is not the right word, you have to spiritually discern it.

Spiritual discernment needs to be exercised just like muscles. This is done by studying God's Word.

Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Passing down diluted/incorrect ideas of God to my children and grandchildren seems like the most evil act I could commit. Be very watchful of evil within oneself, misrepresentation is truly evil.

Peace :)

No becuase there is good in all. I guess they just don't want to admit to it. They might find comfort in being superior-even if it means being "evil." I for one believe the holidays bring out the good in everyone, or at least i hope becuase i love the holidays.

When they make a practice of it. A man of God once said he doesn't sin every day. He went on to say that we are covered by the blood of Jesus (Spirit of Life). We fall into trouble when we practice sin. So I would have to say when one knowingly practices evil.

(1John 3:4) Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness.

Never. The concept of evil is not useful in describing events or persons. All things are interconnected, and no one is independent from the world they live in.
