Girls, have any of you dragged a relationship that you did not want in the first place but hold on to it just so you can get some really good gift? This could apply with regular relationship or during the holidays or any excuse to get some free stuff but ultimately you know you will not be with that guy? Elaborate ladies

Superficial and materialistic girls do that.
I personally don't like to whine, complain, or drag a relationship to get a gift. If I get something because I whine and complained, I don't appreciate it as much and prefer not to have it at all.
Surprise me. You don't necessarily have to spend money to surprise. I can buy diamonds and flowers for myself. Do something that fits me and that will tell me that you know me and accept me for me. Something that is just as unique as I am.
Besides I am against buying gifts for holidays. I only buy gifts for birthdays. The point of Christmas, Thanksgiving and valentine, is to show the people you love how much you truly appreciate them and how grateful you are to be where you are. Don't wait until you are very sick in the hospital or love ones die to show appreciation. Make memories without the financial distress. It's does more harm than good. I hate the way the media exploits the holidays and take them out of context.

actually no. ive broken up with guys before (when I was in high school) because i didnt have money or any idea of what to get for holidays or birthdays.
