you should only fix your teeth if YOU have a problem with the way they look, YOU are the one that will have to incur the procedures and the expense of having them fixed, it would be real easy as a dental technician as this is how i make my money to tell you yeah go fix them but as a sensible person my advice has to be only if you want them to be fixed. who cares what other people think anyways! now if you are unhappy with your smile then by all means having cosmetic work done can make a big difference in your life. i have seen patients that rarely smile because they are embarrassed about the way their teeth look leave the office after getting work done smiling from ear to ear. I hope my answer gives you some help in making your decision

I don't know how crooked your teeth actually are, so it's difficult to say.
Have you asked people in your own life what they think? It's incredibly easy to hone in on problems we have with ourselves; problems which might actually not be that bad.

At any rate, I suggest talking to your dentist (if you haven't already). See if he agrees that they should be fixed, and if he does, do it. It's not as if you have anything to lose, or that you'll regret it later.

If you have the opportunity to have your teeth straitened it's a good idea, here is why:

Cleaning your teeth will be easier.
You will have less of a chance of getting gingivitis (gum disease).
Your bite will be in line and might help you not have jaw problems in the future (TMJ problems).
Your smile will be wonderful.

Yes, they are very important. Teeth are the first thing many people look at to decide if they are attracted to someone or not.

It's worth the pain and time of having braces. Your teeth will be gorgeous and your self esteem will be sooo much higher.
